Université Côte d'Azur was established in 2020, replacing Université Nice Sophia Antipolis (founded in 1965), and is located on the French Riviera between Nice, Sophia Antipolis, and Cannes. The university is one of France's top 10 research-intensive institutions with strong academic programs in digital sciences, artificial intelligence, environmental sustainability, and life sciences. It ranks 401-500 in the Shanghai Rankings and hosts 35,000 students across interdisciplinary programs.
