Université Paris Nanterre was founded in the 1960s and is located in the Île-de-France region, with its main campus in Nanterre on a 32-hectare green space, along with additional sites in Ville-d'Avray, Saint-Cloud, and La Défense. The university enrolls over 35,000 students and excels in humanities and social sciences, legal and economic sciences, arts and culture, and information and communication sciences, supported by 43 research units.
